Stevie Yang is a 2nd year medical student at UMass Chan with a passion for women's health and advocacy. Prior to medical school, Stevie volunteered at Mount Sinai in the Emergency Department supporting survivors of sexual violence. During her first year, Stevie joined efforts to educate medical students about human trafficking. Her graduation capstone project will be aimed at integrating skills in the care for patients experiencing trafficking into the academic curriculum.
