Taught by the school system's mental health staff, and developed from the ground up by Prince William County Public School educators & community stakeholders, this critically-acclaimed, evidenced-based, victim-centered, trauma-informed 90-minute interactive classroom lesson, has proven to be effective in empowering students with the knowledge & life skills to avoid exploitation in the first place. In their first year, 100 students came forward. Of those students, 41 were identified as having been sexually assaulted, groomed, or victims of trafficking. Click here for programs outcomes.
