David Branson, VCU School of Medicine, Class of 2021



David Branson is a current 4th year medical student at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. He graduated from Virginia Tech in 2017 with a degree in Human Nutrition, Foods, and exercise, and is pursuing a residency position in the exciting and wonderful world of pediatrics! He currently serves as the research char in VCU's Students Fighting Human Trafficking (SFHT) interest group. He is currently working on projects evaluating and revising current curricula aimed at identifying and assisting victims of human trafficknig for health care providers, as well as ongoing research projects evaluating the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on domestic violence and child abuse and neglect in the state of Virginia
