Detective Michael Schneider has been a law enforcement officer since 2007. The last six years he has been working as a Detective with the Albemarle County Police Department. Prior to his career in law enforcement, he attended Virginia Commonwealth University and studied criminal justice. He is currently assigned to the Special Victims Unit where he specializes in crimes against children. He works on the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the Charlottesville-Albemarle Human Trafficking Task Force.
