Amy C. Brown, MD, MHS



Amy C. Brown M.D. M.H.S. is a general pediatrician and Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Virginia. She is a co-founder of the Charlottesville/Albemarle Human Trafficking Task Force and is committed to ending human trafficking across Virginia. She is passionate about working with underserved and often marginalized pediatric patients both domestically and abroad and spends the majority of her academic time focusing on community outreach, advocacy and medical education. She is a co-founder of the Mid-Atlantic Global Health Education Consortium, serves as the director of the UVA Pediatric Home Visit Program and Pediatric Global Health Leadership Track and is a UVA School of Medicine Foundations of Clinical Medicine faculty coach. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, Jason, visiting with family and friends and traveling whenever possible.
