April 30, 2021 Virtual Workshops on Stages of Change Model of Care and Motivational Interviewing

Medical Students Fighting Human Trafficking @ VCU




Workshops on The Stages of Change Model of Care and Motivational Interviewing will supplement the Human Trafficking Elective to teach communication and listening skills and improve specific competencies known to affect outcomes of care / patient satisfaction.


Candace Wheeler, MA, LPC, EMDRII, NCC, will guide two 90-minute workshop as students apply the concepts and engage creatively in the subject matter through role-play.

TIME:

Workshop 1: 11:30 - 1 PM

Workshop 2: 2 PM - 3:30 PM


You must register for both workshops.


COST: FREE but limited to 12 students per workshop
